Even if you can choose the path - do you draw the way first or what? unfamiliar with that - there remain those paths that can't be reached via safe routes, e. g. Penny's arena. You would need to stop at times and look at the enemies to sneak around them.
Not limited to Eureka, I don't see the gain, honestly. No time is saved, and if you think fundamental game mechanics such as moving and walking boring/want to have them done for you - just don't play that game?

I don't understand your logic just because suggested the autopath function to this game need to leave game now? Is this for real?
