Auto path option would it be possible?

You literaly didnt adress one thing i mentioned while quoting my post besides that i asked you if you doing this on purpose sarcastically, quite an accomplishment.
But still no, more options dont automatically improve the game, already stated why

To you of course this option suggested on original post won't improve understood your opinion and tyvm for bringing your point of view but maybe to a minority does help as I wrote before personally does help.

I don't necessarily mind auto path in games. But FFXIV is definitely not the game for it, in my opinion. All the games I personally played had no zones and were just one big open world, so the autopath never broke and really helped getting from point A to B on those long treks, while I was able to do something else in the meantime. XIV zones aren't really big enough for an autopath, and the autopath would just break when you get to a new zone, assuming it will take you through the "gate".

Not to mention, you can basically teleport just about anywhere and be relatively close to the location you need to be, with the exception of a few places.

Yet people now don't chose to walk even though it is optional because it's boring and slow so they just fly everywhere once they can. You give them an option to get from one part of a map to another safely in where they can go afk guess what they'll take that optional thing . You also only seem to want this in a completely optional area as you keep on bringing up grinding and Eureka which might be the only place people would be ok with this as it wouldn't effect the rest of the game.

Yes grinding can and sometimes is boring but they've only made people do that in open world areas in like four times that being parts of two different relic weapon lines, Yokai watch and Eureka. The relics and Yokai one would did better using a mount than walking as you had to make sure you got to the fates and tagged enough mobs to maybe get to that fate that was about to end. While in Eureka it's simular but you don't have the fates pop on their own someone has to have been doing somethng to have made it pop. That and at least to me the moving to the next one is the part that's not boring as you have to pay attention to where you're going and who might have died or is straggling behind.

Um, let's review...

When someone throws an ad hominem argument in a repetitive and manipulative speech just because you repeat it like parrots do doesn't make it real, but that is a personal choice and that's a problem you'll have to face in the future.

Now back to the subject the suggestion made on the initial topic has nothing to do with lazy or not lazy just because someone told you doesn't mean it's LEGIT. If you can back-off a bit you are not a holder of the absolute truth maybe consider that are other external factors that can affect persons motor coordination and that optional tool that for you might not improve the game maybe to other minority it will help and turn the game even more inclusive.

It just so happens that a good number of others share a similar sentiment. If you're going to post on the forums you have to be open to people agreeing AND disagreeing with you. It just so happens that a good number of others share a similar sentiment. If you're going to post on the forums you have to be open to people agreeing AND disagreeing with you. He may not be but I will. Given the ease of transportation in this game where you can be literally anywhere in the world from anywhere else in about 2 minutes, I find the suggestion to be lazy as well as the desire for it. Currently it is as simple as pointing yourself in the direction and hitting auto run. There is no reason to want this feature aside from laziness and doing something outside the game at the same time. You mention people grinding but it wouldn't speed up grinding or help with it at all. Your character is still occupied during this time and can make 0 progress toward anything else in game unless you have an inventory sorting fetish.

So no, this option is found in rubbish mobile games or bad MMOs and isn't needed in this game. You already said in your earlier post about playing 2 games at the same time. It is not the devs concern that you multitask. I also don't want to see them waste time programming a system to calculate auto travel around god knows how many obstacles and variables based on your position.

Too hard to netflix while navigating the world? Why not just turn off the game and just netflix? The game obviously doesn't have your attention if you're bothered by having to navigate your character thru the world. Time to find something else to do instead imo.

Auto path in cities could be nice (including Golden Saucer), just because then you get to remember the area is big/sight see while doing some other stuff and occasionally decide to ignore the mini crystals (those crystals already make the area small, if anything the auto path increases the city feeling lol).

Then add a little bit to that system on the map where in the city if you click a chocobo stable unlocked it'll walk you to the stable in your area and go to that area's stable (confirmation of cost is done at the map, that whopping 20 gil.. lol). May also use boats and airships. Much like WoW's flight path system (technically FFXIV does a lot of that too but iirc WoW's will recognize longer distance connections, putting you on like 7 birds in a row lol).

For example in Limsa you click on Middle La Noscea stable, your character runs to the chocobo stable and from there goes to the stable in Middle La Noscea.

When in a sanctuary you can use the auto chocobo/falcon/what have you shoopuff to take you as well. The difference is very minimal (if you're in a sanctuary you can probably see the stable already haha), but since the system was developed a little bit already can use it here too cause.. meh why not lol.

I think it's probably best not to allow it in dangerous areas though, beyond just running into stuff there is the element that these are the last "foreign" areas and adding a "look no hands, no eyes" system takes that away a bit, I think (so not for Eureka/combat areas). Just my imo.
