We already have an auto walk feature, instant teleport, mount speed increases, and flying. If you are lazy just take flight, aim yourself toward your destination, and hit auto run. That way you can get back to playing candy crush or whatever.
Again it's not about laziness and whatever players multitask with when grinding is not even relevant, not even know what candy whatever is.
Have to agree however that auto run is useful, use it all the time but autopath imo is also a must.
Yes SannaR whatever you want to think is your option but has nothing to with lazy or not lazy that repetitive speech also won't take the subject of the topic anywhere.
Btw it was just a suggestion, it was not intented to rise drama or flamewars.

You may not consider it as being lazy but the suggestion comes across as such. Walking, running and riding around isn't hard. It's one thing to set yourself to auto run, walk or ride like we have now because you still have to control where you're going. Having the game do any of that for you from point A to B without having to do anything at all can be considered lazy, plain and simple, and is imo a complete waste of time and resources.Again it's not about laziness and whatever players multitask with when grinding is not even relevant, not even know what candy whatever is.

I don't think you'll be getting a lot of people agreeing with you on this. Mostly because it does come off as though you only want this so you can be lazy. Also you haven't really explained how this won't end up with you setting it and not getting noticed by monsters specially if you're in a zone where even if you're max level for that zone you still can and will get agro. That and walking is so slow in this game I fear you won't move fast enough that if you did end up getting the attention of something you'll survive.

Typically, when people requests QoLs, it's because there's an ingame inconvenience they wish to rectify. The only inconvenience I'm seeing here from the OP is one that's out of game and one that stems from their end. That's why it doesn't appeal to me and why I don't see the point of it and why I'd rather have SE not waste their development time on it.

Distorting, huh?
Not sure maybe am the only that miss auto path option the one that allow you to click on map the point you want your character to travel and the game estimate the shortest path and does for the player auto either characters that travel by foot or mount, for example in Eureka would be really useful!
KR,
AnaBut really useful option the time wasted walking your character to Penny boss and Loui boss allow you to make other thing at the same time, for example when a player play 2 different game at the same time, or playing Eureka and doing other different task the player can divide the attention better.Typically, when people requests QoLs, it's because there's an ingame inconvenience they wish to rectify. But let me guess: "that's not what I mean't" and "You're just putting words in my mouth" is what you're gonna say like many other replies in this thread?![]()
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Auto-path still would be fatal in many situations. You mention Penny and Louhi - even if you followed a "safe" path, that path is programmed, and is unlikely to account for where mobs are on that path. Just getting to Penny, you have multiple aggressive mobs: dragons, matanga, moths. You'll wander through their area, and unless you do so manually, there's a very good chance any automated path will get you several points of aggro. In fact, dragons! An auto-path would likely not include walking, as that would require detection of where mobs are and identifying said mob.
Same with Louhi - you have to jump down the ledge to get to him, and on the way you have two types of Dragons (the free-roamers, and the sleeper on the ledge), as well as the Anubys. Let's not mention the low HP you'll have jumping off the ledge, and auto-path likely won't account for needing to recover HP from the fall - you'll aggro the undead on your way into the area, if the dragon doesn't kill you for your lack of walking first.
Auto-path is not viable to the level you expect it to be - it will always have an aspect of risk unless you keep yourself to areas ≥2 levels below you. Pagos and Pyros would still have the risk in the form of the dragons they have littered all about the place (Pagos in particular). This auto-path system just feels lazy, imo.
This is a common feature of free-to-play MMOs, and it's one of the laziest options I've ever experienced. I think every single F2P MMO, that I played, with this feature also had daily login welfare.
If navigating from point A to point B is so boring or mundane, to the point you wish the game plays itself (auto-pathing), then where will it end?

Aside of any other issues, I feel like there would be an issue between auto-pathing and danger from enemies, either way it could be implemented.
Option 1: Makes no attempt to avoid enemies, just seeks a physically walkable route. Your character will be potentially mauled by high-level monsters because you weren't paying attention and the game sleepwalked you into a hazard.
Option 2: Automatically seeks a safe path through enemies. Set your auto-path to the other end of the corridor full of high-level monsters and you won't have to manually sneak past them, the game will do it for you - defeating the entire point of having high-danger areas in the first place.

I hear from the devs over at Blizzard that sure... everyone has a phone right?
BUT...
THIS IS NOT A KOREAN MOBILE MMO GAME
If you want that hot-mess, go play one of those netmobile MMOs.
