[Poll] Bards -- Play it again sam?

Hello,

This is a Bard specific question, but as it affects everyone who is NOT a bard, and can be world-specific, I thought I ask a question here!

Bards sing. But, do you want to hear them sing? How do you feel about Bards singing during battle? For example, when they unleash a weapon skill, or during epic moments in Primal fights?

The reason I ask is I hope to be a Bard, and would like to know how everyone feels should I start singing for them in parties?

Please vote for the circumstance that you feel it is okey for the Bard to sing... hopefully these are good options.

Even as an RPer, I'd still rather have the bard focus on the fight rather than clutter my chat log if we're in combat. Especially if it's a difficult fight. You'd either be spending way too much time typing a bunch of stuff, or you'd be using macro to sing when you use an ability, and seeing the same line every single time an ability gets used gets old at about... the second time.

umm I think perhaps she was suggesting actual audio sounds rather than chat type?

Yeah chat log singing omg no way, audio singing...perhaps if it was an option to turn on and off sure....

In ffxi the bards sang.... it was annoying because it didn't sound human. But I suspect bard will sing/play in this game as well, just hope for better quality. Afterall, all the different weapon skills, attacks and magic have sounds so why wouldn't bard?

But more on the topic, I'd be down for hearing some humming or something. Not all out singing.
