whats wrong with wow?

Nothing is wrong with WoW. I don't personally care for the game, but thats my opinion. The reason you get all these GTFO or Go back to WoW is because fanboys rarely have anything intelligent to say. The second you mention a game that is not the game the forums are dedicated to the floodgates of morons pop out of their basements. I have even seen people mention games like EQ2 of GW and get a "GTFO and go back to WoW response.

IMO square enix needs to look at every successful MMO out there and go ok "Ok is this worth implementing?" and "Can we implement it properly or expand upon it"...

Most people hate on other MMOs even though they didn't get to experience even 20% of the content that the game had to offer. FF players, you do this too.

Virtually all the complaints I see about WOW is how you can get to the level cap in <1 month, but nobody realizes that the game's design is such that 80%+ of character development happens at the cap. That's where they force you to group and socialize.

Nothing wrong with wow, both games just as bad as each other. Though wow has more due to age blah blah.

I dont think its fair to compare wow with XIV as wow is aged, xiv is not, (even though i think xiv should have a lot more now), compare it with something like TERA who copy wow for things like quest windows and the way you level (the fastest way to level in TERA is story and sidequest and there are hundreds of them). but sadly TERA dont let you change class.

I played WoW for a few months, and one of my issues I didn't see mentioned. (Maybe I just didn't see it though, lol.) I'm a female, and therefore like playing female characters. I know, who'da thunk it? It got really old seeing a bunch of guys trying to cyber with me every other day. After the first few times, I finally started telling people I was really a guy and it still did nothing to solve that issue.

There's nothing wrong with liking WoW. For most of us here, it's just not our cup of tea.

Did you play on a RP server? That's usually where the cybering happens.

Only had like 2-3 trying to cyber with me over the 4 years that I played WOW.

Thats no different than xiv haha, im a female char and just abou tevery guy is a mithra. Though I never get hit on cuse i think people knowz.

Honestly, I haven't had a lot issues in XI (maybe one or two) and none here in XIV. Not saying it doesn't happen, just giving my personal experience.

really no reason for it to let go on. It is clearly break ToS rules. Infact most are under the age of 15. according to the ones I chatted with.
