Because Im not in a good mood right now for 1 and 2 Forums all I see out of them " on a usual basis" is complaining.. can't tell which from which anymore :/

Those are poor excuses for repeatedly belittling the criticism that others have posted on this forum. Don't post nonsense and then try to make excuses when people call you out on it.

If you have a legitimate argument then I'm sure you're capable of being more constructive about it.

Then don't post. No one is forcing you to react to people you don't agree with. But frankly I don't see you even attempting to disagree with me, it just sounds like you don't want anyone criticizing the game. I don't troll this game or the people playing it. I have played since launch, and wouldn't play another MMO. I enjoy the game, but that doesn't mean I don't have criticisms of it too.

I mean I get accused of being a "fanboy" all the time, but I can still acknowledge that on a discussion forum people can have valid critical viewpoints of FFXIV. They should be allowed to express those constructively without being counter trolled.

These quests are awful, and people do need to be allowed to criticize them or we are going to just get more like it at the expense of development time which could be used for other content I/others enjoy.


No hard feelings though, I get angry at trolls who have nothing good to say about the game too. I just put most of them on ignore when I realize that they are only here to troll and not have a real discussion about the game.

Okay I won't say sorry... Jesus Christ.. when I admit Im wrong and I get stuff like "Poor Excuses". Not many people come forward and admit they are sorry. but its whatever

I for one don't mind the types of quests we have right now, particularly considering the lore they provide. This is going on the hope, though, that we start getting a wider variety of quest types with more interesting objectives to spice things up in the midst of the simpler quests.

As far as main story missions, I think everyone can agree that they need a lot of work. Too few and far between, and not very satisfying when considering how sparse they are. I think one of them involved me talking to my companion and a few NPCs and that was it before I had to wait another 6 levels for the next one. That's pretty bad.

That being said though, we know that the original main story is on hiatus until 2.0 (when it'll be revamped), in favor of the live 7th Umbral Era one we're getting at the moment.
