i agree on the quests ... 1. there should still be caps on them even if they are just fetch quests, just give more exp according to level and hardness of the quest. i mean even fetch and kills in games like swtor if done in right level witch is only time worth doing other then for story, but w/e can be difficult. well kinda lol, but either way u'r not 1 shooting them at least like now. cap them to level like level sync.

other then that yeah mmo's can try to put more meaning into there side quests, if they can make the stories in there other offliners worth reading then they can do it for mmo's too. but all in all i just dont' think i'd read them either way...so.

but also hardness and uniqueness in each, and adding more of the elements we already have in game to them sounds great. like if we have ifrit and moogle fight already ...why not add things from those to the next sets of quests.

and em i know it's just beta but ....ffxi had crap tons of side bosses and i mean tons. all these quests needs side bosses to fight, ..and like i said above they would of been better in ffxi and in ffxiv if there are caps to them for apropriate hardness. but i know this wont ever happen anymore in mmo's ..anyway .but there still should be lots of bosses caped or not. hopefully 2.0 and beyond brings in a heaps full of them. ...and hopefully they not like in crappy mmo's where they all fight out the same but make them all different, and all need diff strategies to win.

also on the same subject i like how wotg did it ...they added a huge side of quest that are linked into the main story and u had to do them prior to moving on in the main quest. was very fun and a bunch of them had fun bosses. ...the most important part since most are farm/fetch and kills of normal stuff.
