I am.
Because with a thousand needles you can 3-4 shot mobs far above your level (Granted you will miss 60% of the time). So my party of 2 or 3 blue mage friends hit Northern Thanalan at lvl 23ish, Leveling slowly and enjoying hunting down the spells there only to have 2 people force us to leave because they are using the exploit to kill everything in sight in seconds.
That's not a gripe, but an example of the reality of how exploiting is affecting people who do not want to exploit. This job is being called a solo focused job, but I haven't had such a nice, relaxing time with a small group of people in this game for a long time.
If you tag an enemy, you will get full credit no matter what. It means that you can apply as much pressure on "exploiters" than they can to you. In both cases, a BLU has to pull. There is no reason why they would be able to force you to leave any more than you forcing them.I am.

Also, a side effect to this exploit is that people are done extremely quickly, meaning that there is a high turning rate. If this wasn't the case, the zones would be overpopulated with way more players staying longer, and it'd be even harder for you to find your place in prime spots of EXP (N.Thanalan for example).
We should see something like that happen in 5.X in Heavensward zones, albeit to a lesser degree since the maps are much bigger than ARR ones.
Doing a good job with that when half of its spells are locked behind group content, dungeons we can't queue for. And not like having a full blu party works either, since if one dies he won't get the skill. Not to mention the horrid drop rate, as if it was expected the BLU to get carried a bunch of times into the primal ones.I am.

Oh... Not to mention they still end up taking just as long as any other dps to kill anything at 50, or even taking longer... They're only good for fate boss 1 shotting gimick, nothing else really unless it's in the carnival.
Edit: There ya go Niqo. <3

Leveling blu is just a pointless chore as you don’t actually gain anything from leveling up. I feel like they should have just let the job unlock at 50 since the whole point of it is farming spells anyway. I’m glad I got my “cheat” leveling done before they fix it so you can no longer do that. Also glad I got in before they nerfed chocobo xp gains. Getting my bird from 7 to 10 woukd have taken months and months, now it’s done.
Anyway, they will fix this eventually and also there will soon be far fewer people leveling blu anyway. But even after it is fixed people will still continue to level by having a 70 wipe out whole areas for them in 1 shot anyway, which isn’t an exploit and can’t/won’t be fixed. That’s what happens when they introduce a completely pointless and unfun grind.

SE will let it die or do nothing at all. This is yet another experiment gone wrong in their idea of "Enjoyable Sidecontent".
Like the Diadem, Verminion, Eureka...
I rather they put more resources and effort in a proper trait system, class customization, real raids and dungeons.
I agree to an extent.
I can't blame the playerbase at all, it's natural to seek the most effective leveling methods. The whole thing is a major developer oversight and a lesson hopefully learned in not testing content properly.
People will defend it, but this isn't what we wanted when we asked for Blu. No one asked for a new class that cheeses to max level in a few hours and learns abilities by being carried by lv70's in outdated content a few hundred times. We want to play the new class. The only place we really get to do that is the Carnival, that's it.
I'd appreciate it if you didn't cut my sentence in half to orchestrate some other meaning out of it just so you can speak your mind about an aspect of the job you strongly disagree with.Doing a good job with that when half of its spells are locked behind group content, dungeons we can't queue for. This is not the quote you are replying to *Jedi hands*

Well, apparently the Japanese community isn't a fan of BLU either. So expect changes relatively soon.
I can edit in the quote if you want. I highlighted that part because for a job advertised for its soloness, it's doing an amazing job of forcing me into group content I can't even queue for.
Though, I guess you technically agreed since you're having fun with it with your friends?
