Login Problems

My brother Jinrya and I try to login but it says either our Square enix name or password is wrong which it isn't. we want to know if anyone else is having this problem?

Details:Can't login after being disconnected. Entered password and said I had to wait several minutes. After 45 minutes to 2 hours of waiting I changed my password, and it still doesn't work. I can't even log into the forums to post this problem myself. I tried sending a report but chat support didn't work for some reason.

Steps:
1. Waited on 15 minute to 30 minute intervals to enter password to log in.
2. After 2 hours I changed password, but still can't login.
3. After 2 additional hours of not touching anything, password is still incorrect and unable to log in.

It's strange that it will let you change the password, but nothing else.

I'm going to disconnect from the forums for a moment since I'm logged in via an alternative means. If I don't post an update in a few minutes, I'm locked out too.

Update: That kills my theory. Thought it may have been universal for a moment. Thinking...

This may sound completely crazy, but trying to rule out as many things as I can.

Using your same login credentials, can you try logging onto the SE website at another house / location (as long as it doesn't use your current router-ISP combination). If you're using a smartphone to test this, do not use the WiFi to connect to the internet.

IF SE lets you log in from another house/network, going a step further... if you have a spare router in the house and swap it out with the one that is currently supporting yours and your brother's connection. If no spare router, a little further would be to plug your desktop directly into your ISP box and see if you can login to the SE website and/or the game.

If both are true, there *could* be something (not 100%) with your router that's restricting access to SE. Where there may be a fix using the router, without reproducing the issue myself, I don't think I could provide instructions on fixing it short of buying a new router.
