This is Japan we're talking about. Japanese men tend to have a bit of a boob fetish, which is understandable given the average cup size in Japan. Its the same has the obsession with light skin and blonde hair/blue eyes. Unlike the European countries, Japan is fairly homogenous. So anything outside the norm is exotic and a turn-on. Big boobs is outside the norm, and this being a world of fantasy, they would be crazy not to let ppl experience the giant boobs they don't get to see in real life.

Course they could just come to America, but thats a lot more expensive lol

Oh really now??

What if I told you that information came from

1) My Japanese teacher, who is from Japan btw.

2) My Japanese friend, who sadly had to go back to Japan

3) Conversations with the Japanese foreign exchange students

Of course they were probably generalizing, like we generalize about our own culture, but that doesn't make it BS. Obviously it can't apply to everyone in a culture, but you can apply things like that to a culture generally. Just look at a culture's media to get a feel for things.

Blonde hair/blue eyes is rare in Japan and is considered really attractive. Ask any woman who's gone there, Japanese women find it beautiful. Skin color is the same deal. My Japanese teacher said that in general, fairer skin is considered more attractive. Of course this is in Japan, we're not talking about Japanese Americans.

All in all its not BS~ its straight from the source itself. I spend a lot of time learning about Japanese culture from my friends who come from there, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't call BS on everything that didn't agree with you.

EDIT: Look at anime/manga/models/tv and tell me that you don't see

1) fair skin

2) bigger boobs than average

Media reflects the social/cultural ideas of any given society.

When you first play 2.0, the 2D world map is covered and you will have to actually travel to that part of the map to unlock it

Agreed. To mention the game that MUST NOT BE NAMED and also Star Ocean III among others, one of my great passtimes in RPGs is exploring the map. I do hope it's more of a "reveal 5-10% of the map at a time" than a "pixel hunt for that last .00003% of the map" kind, though. Still, I'm looking forward to doing some exploring after 2.0 comes out.

I personally hope that they give a nice range in bust size. From large (without reaching ridiculous), to downright flat.

I agree. And lets be honest.. all the male players that play female chars are gonna go for the hugest possible bust size.

Which is fine.. it'll just make it easier to point out who's frauding or not.

Personally, I would love if the character creation was more dynamic... full of all kinds of options. Hair length especially.. and I personally would like my character (highlander) to be more ripped. Less carbs, less body fat, more shredded muscles
