As many have stated this is an excellent post. We must be mindful that 2.0 is the re-launch of XIV and there will be no more opportunities for lack luster performance. When the term "lack luster" is referenced it simply implies that there are many "opportunities" for improvement. SE has the ability and must follow through as they have previously communicated when saying 2.0. One would not expect "nickel and dime" patches after a major release.
Updated OP with new rep response. Also went through the english interviews looking for infos and listed what I thought was important. If you think I missed something good let me know, I might add it.
Tomorrow will look through the EU interviews (the translated ones anyhow since I can't speak french or german) and see if I can't find more infos. Also will see about updating the second post, I need to review all the dev post again and see if it's worth putting there.
Time for sleep again. See you.![]()

Thanks. Good Thread. Must of taken ages to compile.
Epic post is epic, thank you a lot for doing this!
Cheers for the post, very handy indeed!
I would keep the "Hold them accountable" bit personally /evilface
Great thread! Now all I need to know is if we'll be given a chance to change the name of our character/s when changing appearance in 2.0...
Nice to have all this info in one place.
Hopefully people will take the time to read it instead of posting stupid question about things which have been answered already.
Those are some fantastic promices.
I really hope they can deliver.
