For example. A major city could exit into 3 zones, each of those 3 zones could exit into 3 zones, and each of those 9 zones could exit into 3 zones. In this method, you'd have 39 mini zones within close proximity to a major city.

I really hope they design a completely different form of transportation, I don't like the concept of Anima.
I agree, I don't like the concept of Anima, With the Current Version of FFXIV however, it is needed. In 2.0 I hope they make a different way of teleportation!
