How about we send all those who want a strict death penalty to a hardcore server, because the chances are there are less of you and more casual people who will play this game. (although I don't agree with you on death penalty I do agree with the speed of levelling)While shame is a solid reason for many people to avoid death, its not something that applies to everyones logic, while a death penalty should. Otherwise what reason is there for death? A minute time sink? How about we just dedicate a server to the casual players, everyone can have their god mode, kill things quickly, reach max level cap within a few days and be content with thier hollow achievements(Yeah, I'm a hater.) People who are against a death penalty obviously are not up to the challenge it presents.
Death penalty is nothing more than an obnoxious layer added to a game, its unnecessary.
If you feel you need to be penalised for dying go play Demon Souls![]()
