While shame is a solid reason for many people to avoid death, its not something that applies to everyones logic, while a death penalty should. Otherwise what reason is there for death? A minute time sink? How about we just dedicate a server to the casual players, everyone can have their god mode, kill things quickly, reach max level cap within a few days and be content with thier hollow achievements(Yeah, I'm a hater.) People who are against a death penalty obviously are not up to the challenge it presents.

Well, I'm just going by the lore. The thing we use(anima) is a part of us. SO it would make sense for it to kinda disappear when dieing. And to die by using it a lot. As it says here "teleporting, as it can lead to irreversible damage.."

Not a great idea, but not a bad idea either.

Nope. Running back, weakened/double weakened status, and item durability loss is enough of a death penalty.

The world today is one big instance anyway. So when your party dies, you lose the instance and noone can raise you to save it. So you lose time and you don't get your items. Failure is your punishment.

All you do is lose 5mins of time.... woooowww. Either way, why not expand on my NM idea that goes with it, instead of focusing on one part try and focus on the full picture.
