    I think people have a misconception that popular threads mean the ideas are taken into consideration. This is far from the case. I have a suggestion thread that doesn't even have three pages of posts that a dev responded to.

    I wouldn't be surprised if they actively ignore his OPs at this point.

    Oh but didn't you read his posts? Plenty of the superior hardcore skillplayers he talks to on a regular basis would welcome this change. They are omniscient about dogging-your-butt-raw hardcore timewasting mechanics, and walking everywhere and having to pause for half an hour after a death is clearly the holy grail of video game enjoyment. It's a tough secret that they've just barely wanted to share with us casual gaming scrubs and our killing-monsters-is-fun uneducated moronic opinions. I'm just offering to help them out by making their professional superfun crazygood longwinded approach to gaming the Almas Caviar of the gaming world.

    no thanks, buy a whip and whip yourself everytime you die, that would be a greater death penalty and wont affect any of us who enjoy the game as it is.

    I also liked that the OP necroed a year old thread by belgiumrofl (one of the least liked posters) claimed lots of people changed their mind about teleporting (untrue), and then gave support to Belgiumrofl.....way to build up that support Rokien -.-

    Oh no, now I know what he's talking about... remember all that fun getting back the level you'd already spent hours earning. I *loved* redoing that every other week! /end sarcasm

    The thrill of trying to survive is not getting killed not "oh if I die I get to grind some more instead of doing crap I actually care about". If I die in most offline console games I lose about 5 minutes worth of time (same as FFXIV), it doesn't change the fact my knuckles are turning white and I have decrepid claws for hands because wanting to win/survive makes you tense.

    I've also loved demon souls for that punishment as well. It always kept me on my toes, I hated dieing, and losing souls, ya, it pissed me off. Though, it made me a better player.
