Open world is free for all really. If I fancy killing a bomb for some bomb ash, even if there are blue mages wanting to get self destruct, who is on the right? Both are, and it can be kind of a jerk move, but its still fair game. Open world is just that, free for all. This is why SE does nothing to "early pullers" on hunts, and they won't do anything about this either.

Job switching is... A thing, and while it is an exploit, its been around since forever, and they haven't (or can't even) fix it because of the jumbled mess that is FF14.

As for blues being in cohorts with level 70s who kill mobs the blue tags, thats just the mob claiming system working as intended. If you hit something, you get credit for the kill even if you did only 5 damage to it. If it wasn't like that, then we would live in an MMO where first come first served and everyone else had to wait for mobs for quests etc, which is FAR FAR worse...

Also the OP has way too much time on his hands if he just sits around and watches other people for days.

EDIT: ALSO, I would like to point out that people who cheesed leveling are already level 50, since day 1. They are not the ones who are still leveling.
