    Error 90002

    Hey guys,

    I'm having constant 90002 error on FFXIV, sometimes 30~30 minutes, 1~1 hour, its very random. Server Behemoth.
    My friend lives in the next city, has the same ISP as me and never get dropped.

    Tried to lower the graphics, but the game already runned at 60fps on high..

    Can you guys please ask me some tests so i can see whats wrong?

    Thanks and sorry about the bad english, i'm from Brazil.

    Edit 1 - Yesterday I deleted the game and installed again via Steam and the problem persists.

    First thing you can do is trace your connection to the SE server Just open CMD and type the following : tracert 204.2.229.10
    (204.2.229.10) is the IP for the Primal data center which is where Behemoth is, once it starts you will see your connection up to 30 hops and if there is any issues along the route it should hopefully show up here there.

    Hmm looking at it I can't see why your friend can play perfectly while you can't, and you are both getting a time out on hops 8-9 which I'm not sure why.
    My only guess would be that your connection is fine but the SE server is dropping you for some reason, the test might look fine now but for all we know one of the hops is dropping your connection while playing causing the 90002 Error.
    If no one else comments on this I would say contact SE support properly as they will have more know how on what things you can try to fix the connection.
    On the event the fault is not with you or your connection they will look into it internally in case it is there fault ( they are doing that with me now )

    Based on your trace route, you are taking a strange route to the server. This has been reported before where players from Brazil are routed through Europe before connecting to the servers in North America. I can't tell for certain because some of your hops time out between Brazil and New York. Additionally, you are getting some rather high pings (~140ms) before you leave Brazil, making the longer route worse.

    I'm not sure why your friend has fewer issues , but you can see that you are having trouble keeping a constant connection on hop 12.

    I'd recommend contacting your ISP as they are the ones that control your route to the server.

    Einmimiria, i already contacted my ISP and they say that theres no problem from their service, that i should contact the tecnical support from the game, since I had played a lot of games (League of Legends, Wow, Overwatch, etc) and never had a problem with lag or drop.

    As you said, my friend and I have the same response to tracert (mine is even better than his), and the game keeps DC only me.

    There any other test that i can do? Or some department on SE i should contact?

    I think I may have worded that incorrectly. I'm not suggesting that there is an issue with the service itself, but with the route you are taking. The artificially large distance you are taking is contributing to your disconnections.
