I agree. Out of all the screenshots, that's my favorite. It really makes me want 2.0 right now. I just want to run around in that forest, a real forest that's not a maze of tunnels.

This game desperately needs the server and engine fixes that 2.0 will bring. I understand that those are the most important elements of the FFXIV revamp. But personally, nothing excites me more about 2.0 than the new areas.

Yep. What I was thinking too. I loved hanging out in Zi'tah.

The first picture looks like something out of Windurst... which I have mixed feelings on. The picture in the forest, though, gets me excited if we can actually go between those trees and it's not some invisible wall pathed area.

I would also love some snow-filled zones, but I would honestly like the idea of seasons where snow would be present in many non-snowy areas as well during the winter.

Notice the bottom pic is labeled warp gate. Seems similar to ff11.

With small maps I have a feeling that anima may be nixed in the world changing events.

In another one of Reinheart's pictures, it's labelled as being a warp gate that decomposes and then reassembles you, to and from the big Garlean structure behind it.
