What kind of stupidity is this?
If you don't want the items just discard them from your inventory. Merely having some of them attached to your account won't do any kind of harm to anything.
Somehow removing them from your account won't change the fact that you did buy them previously - and you know you did, so any embarassement should still be there.
Removing those items from your account isn't taking a stand, it just being silly. Nobody else will see that you have removed them, nobody else will be impressed by your actions, and the money you spent will still have been spent.

You can't erase the past I'm afraid.
Although it would be funny if people could buy second hand Mog Station items for cheaper and this way delete them from the previous owner. It would give a new meaning to the "can I have your stuff" meme.

Supports consumerism by buying additional items (which are not required to play the game) then complains they don't want to support it any more...
I mean come on, own your investments and also read your ToS. All Mog Station item purchases are final, and the collectors editions may have a refund policy and even then it's a small time frame to apply for this (depending on the region).
So, you no longer wish to have cash shop items...
Step 1) Just stop buying from the cash shop, which outright tells you the items are non-refundable, among other things, as you select to pay for them. The same goes for collector's editions. Sales are final.
Step 2) Don't pay for the sub, as much as possible.
Step 3) Understand that life comes with lessons as well as the notion that you can always cut your losses, not just a MMO made and run by a company that potentially utilizes such greedy practices.
Step 4) Be more creative or constructive in your feedback, or contribute towards someone else who does just that.
Step 5) Takes this experience and these steps with you in the future.
Expecting a company as big as SE to bend down and work against its own policies sounds nice and novel until you realize that you're only incentivizing the company to cease business with you. A large company isn't worried about losing one person, even if that person kicks and screams so loud, threatening to tell all their friends and family about this. Take it from someone who used to work at a call center selling medicine to old people through their medicare provider, which is a horrific company by its own right; demanding SE go in to delete your items, with or without refund, is highly unrealistic. The more you try to fan the flames, as it were, the more that they will be the one to cut their losses with you. Greedy or not, that is how businesses of some success stick to their policy, and how gladly they'll do it since that same policy protects their success.
