    I take it you are running Windows 10 correct ?
    If you press start and type DxDiag you can run the DirectX Diagnostics tool, it should tell you what DirectX version you are using in the systems tab. Also check the Display tab as it lists your GPU driver.

    Went through all that, all up to date with current version. also went through the Nvidia Geforce experience to update the graphics card driver and check multiple times to make sure there was not other updates I miss. I am really confused right now...
