Seeing blue mages hit max level a couple hours after unlocking, then walking around with their artifact weapons from beating blue carnival a couple hours later has me curious when the level upgrade is coming out, or weapon glamours.

The first level cap increase will happen in "the patch after 5.0".
We would like to provide information regarding the increased experience points obtained for your companion than normal, while setting the limited job to blue mage.
Blue mage is a limited job where one must first witness the enemy perform a specific attack in order to “learn” and mimic these actions while also gaining high experience points after defeating these monsters. With this, we have also taken into consideration that players who may not have been actively using their companions may now have an increased opportunity to frequent them. As a result, we have also increased the gained experience points for the companion while setting the limited job as blue mage.
However, as we have currently confirmed the situation, a lot more players than anticipated have been leveling along with their companions, which may affect the overall game balance. As a result, we will be scheduling a Hotfix next week on Jan. 24, in order to implement adjustments.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience in adjustments being implemented after the release, and we thank you for your understanding.
I play no way near a hardcore amount of ffxiv, but im nearly out of things to do, nearly got all the skills, and the carnival difficulty is a joke. We need some more stuff or a DF unlock
Savage Completion Rate ~5%+ of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to savage"
Ultimate Completion Rate ~1% of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to the hardcore raiders"
Frontline/ Rival Wings/ Hidden Gorge Mount Aquisition ~0.05-1% of active players. Community: "Ugh PVP is so dead in this game, they should stop investing in it"
Blue Mage Morbol Mount Aquisition ~0.01% of active players. Community: "WoW bLuE mAgE iS sO fUn AnD aCtIvE i CaN't WaIt FoR mOrE lImItEd JoBs"
Yeah I feel like the job would have taken longer and had more things to do if it was just a regular job. Even if capped at 50.
It really doesn't take long even without the exploit, it's less than 24 hours to 50. I didn't use the exploit and day 1 I was up to the dungeon and trial grind for skills.

See if you can get some party finders up for doing all or mostly blue mage parties for old content. Might prove entertaining. It's something I potentially planning to do once mine is 50. I never got all my ponies back in the day and it'd be interesting to not rely on high level jobs undersizing it. Titan Ex was my favourite back in the day, so I might end up trying to build a party for that. Technically there's loads to do, I guess it's getting people to do it, but there's a party finder available if you don't have the people for it. You never know, you might find people who don't mind a nostalgia trip through old content synced to level 50 or people who joined later who haven't done older content or have only undersized them.
I think what would be useful is a "Limited Job Roulette" or a few different ones as I think we are so used to relying on the duty finder, so you could have 50, trial and raid Limited Job roulettes, give rewards for higher level content for the added incentive. Whilst it's just Blue Mages, it could be interesting to relive older content from a different angle, helps give it life where being "OP" doesn't matter if it's what everybody going in expecting anyway, especially on content that can be undersized.
It could be an opportunity for SE to actually breathe life back into older content but still be beneficial when your mains are level capped.
24h just for the lvls is still a bit for people who had an ordinary week with 8 hours of work if u just play 2-3 hours a day. And than u got no skills at all and u havent put your hand on the Arena as well what will take some more „24hs“ to complete.
I have an ordinary job as an electrician and care for an elderly grandparent with dementia, I still effortlessly got to lvl 50 in no time. And no, I'm not grinding for ages to maybe not even get the skill, I have more rewarding things to do with my time.
EDIT: Figure I should share what I did, formed a party with other BLU's and massacred enemies in a reasonable level range with them, pretty fast stuff.
