BLU and EX Primal Spells

Hello, everyone. Just want to talk about how people are setting pfs to learn primals and requiring 1 person to go either tank or heals for the runs. Sounds reasonable, right? No, not really. The EX Primal Spells have a very low chance of being learned. If it so happens the spell is learned, that one person not being a BLU for the sake of the party will miss out and the party will most likely disband, setting that person back to square one. If the party decides to stay for that 1 person, they'll get tired eventually because they already got the spell and there's nothing in for them. People also don't like running all BLU because it requires them to know the fight and not die, since BLU doesn't have a rez. It's just a nuance trying to learn these spells, especially when people want you to not run BLU and then leave when they get the spells. It's basically lootmaster.

How about asking a lvl 70 who isn't interested in BLU to help with unsynced runs?

I have run many BLU through dungeons for their skills so these people exist, they may be rare but they exist.

Considering most 70 jobs can solo these trials, I'm expecting people to start selling runs soon, if not already.

It's called teamwork and paying it forward.
Either find a RDM who doesnt want the spell, or be the RDM this time and going in as BLU another time.

Just has this exact thing happen. We were splitting it 4 and 4. One group gets theirs and within two runs one guy is like I got 3 more runs in me. (We had only done about 10 runs at this point. Dude leaves and then another just drops without saying anything. Then we have 4 blues standing here screwed. This happened lastnight as well. I dont understand why we need parties to learn spells in the first place. There is nothing solo about blu except for the carnival with its POTD scoring mentality that most people dont even care about. Remind me why they are claiming this is a solo job????

Hoping swap parties work is like hoping people don't leave after they win their EX mount. Mostly a dice roll since there is nothing keeping them there once they get what they want. I mean the drop chance is probably similar to the mount drop rates.

The harder bosses (like EX) should drop a single totem for the same spell if the learn skill procs if there is a BLU in the party that only people that don't have the skill and BLU unlocked can roll on so people on carry jobs can get a chance at learning it IMO. Probably won't happen though.

I've had people say that apart from Shiva, all Primal spells can be learned from Hard modes as well as Extreme. Is this true?

You can learn all the primal skill except for Garuda and Shiva from their NM and HM variants!
