The thing that has been bugging me about the map fran is using is where does the cartographer hail from if they are from Garlemald it would make more sense why Dalmasca is noted rather than Rabanastre but if they hail from Dalmasca why not name the city Rabanastre. Lea Monde being absent might be because something bad happened there or the map itself is much older than Lea Monde existence

Also the first character is the same as the first character in Yanxia, so seems like a Y not a V.

Capital Y's and V's are very similar in Eorzean, but if you look closely at V's, the downward stroke connects at the very bottom point of the letter, while in the Y's there's the tiniest bit of tail hanging down from where the two strokes intersect. But the port city is Valnain, and it gets some mentions in both the lore book and the Ivalice raid text.

Valnain, a city with some importance in the game Vagrant Story iirc. Can't remember exactly what it was, it's been too long since I played that game (PS1).

valnain is where the headquarters of the VKP is

If so... usually the 3rd 24 man raid is the end. But by the looks of it they might add sidequest for it?

Spoilers from the new raid.

The main plot threads are wrapped up, but with room left open for both the Dalmascan resistance plot with Fran and her boss along with the stinger scene with the Empire finding something in the clockwork city, it looks like they're setting up to continue these threads in the future. Maybe in 5.X's alliance raid story or even working it into the msq somehow.
