Unless is the absolute revolution that is gonna bring back to life the MMORPG genre from its ashes, bigger than World of Warcraft "questing". I would hardly call this a "Masterpiece of Game Design".
Unless i'm wrong and im losing on the best gaming experience since Nier Automata and God of War.

This is the problem with the community at large. Some would praise every step of the DevTeam as it was gospel revealed and will completely ignore any (even the devs saying themselves they were not so "ok" with some content... see people that still defends Pagos, and Eureka as a whole) fault, or people that just puts its finger on a issue, be it small (let's say... lack of some party options on Mahjong) or huge (no ultrawide cutscene support in 2019, graphics on PC in general, the state of huge chunks of dead content...) and claim the game is doomed (It's making money so no, is not, sigh these people...) when indeed both are: Wrong.
Also, for me is kinda nice to see the cultural differences between east and western players, and even if we, western players are indeed the majority the game must be made so it can be played, enjoyed and be meaningful to both. I'll bring mahjong again since is new: For us westeners, mahjong is barely a game in our win install, yet for eastern countries, mahjong is one of the most popular and played "board games", like we play Chess, Poker, Dominoes, etc. For those countries these addition must be nothing short of great, for us, most of us is probably scratching their head and wondering why a GS mini game can last up to 1 hour as if it was a 24man raid.
See, that's the issue, and i bet BLU will be referenced in any both ways across the boards and boards of micro communities. Thus, i suggest everyone from not taking anyone's word, not even mine, and just try it for yourself. If you found a good argument on as to why BLU is either good or bad, please bring it to the boards. Do not just call it "terrible, literally unplayable, worst class ever, blahblahblah" or "the greatest class ever introduced, masterpiece of game design, revolutionary, blehblehbleh" Without an argument for that. The closest this game was to be a "Masterpiece" was during the 1.0 to 2.0 transition, the whole thing went down into gaming's history. Yet it had more to do with the whole franchise than just FFXIV, and even if it was only FFXIV was not really about it's concepts, designs or game related stuff, but mostly about the history of the devs and the whole production process, not the product itself. Well. Must be someone that thinks FFXIV is the greatest videogame ever made...
