SOOOOOOOOO the only 2 weapons I can find for BLU is the level 1 starting one and the one you get at level 50.
Thoughts?
Why don't we have more?
I know the job doesn't depend on its weapon's stats to work but really?

I mean other than glamour....what for? I'm perfectly alright waiting for them to add glamour later on.
BECAUSE GLAMOUR IS EVERYTHING!
#glamouristherealendgame ._____.
Why would you need anything but a Pimp Cane to begin with?
Most likely BLU will get a tonne of updates in 5.0. 2 weapons for a patch isn't too bad, especially considering that they are exclusively glamour
Laziness, to put it bluntly.
Yes, there was the explanation that they didn't want to have BLUs worrying about farming for dungeon weapons during the leveling process, but they didn't even bother to add glamour weapons that can be crafted. They also could have still added dungeon weapons, but left the stats off. Or better yet, they could have given Blue Mage normal weapons with stats like every other job. Then for those who don't want to farm dungeons for their weapons, they could simply buy a weapon off the market.
I was actually wondering about that.
Guess it answers my question.
If you wait until 50 to chase after some of the lower level spells, you won't be able to use magic on the mobs without one-shotting them, so you use the level 1 cane to nibble them down and then wait for them to do their thing before finishing them off. At least, that's how it worked in XI.
I mean.....I guess it doesn't account for why there aren't glamour options, but at least the level 1 cane serves a purpose. I'm keeping mine.

And then it turns out you can powerlevel and literally not care about leveling gear the entire time anyway, so put it on the list of lame excuses/reasons they gave us to justify the entire Limited Job idea.Laziness, to put it bluntly.
