FFXIV Mac - XBox One Controller intermittently unresponsive after upgrading to Mojave

After upgrading OS X on my Macbook Pro to 10.14.2 (Mojave) -- previously on the latest version of High Sierra (10.13.x) -- the controller is super wonky.

By "wonky" I mean: every 15-30 seconds the controller stops responding entirely for about half a second. It does this consistently, and it seems to be related to the OS upgrade. I realize this means it could be Apple's issue, but I figured I would submit the bug report here first, and request that your developers file a bug report with Apple, if they determine that is the case.

UPDATE: Rebooting my system did not resolve the issue. I also tried installing this driver and rebooting, but the driver did not work. I fiddled with it for a while, but eventually uninstalled it and rebooted again. After doing this, I am no longer having the original issue posted here. Controller seems to be working again (as long as I don't unplug it during gameplay)

    Party or solo: N/A
    In-game time: N/A
    Area and coordinates: Everywhere

    Steps:
    1. Get a Macbook Pro (15 inch, 2017) with OS X 10.13.x and FFXIV installed, with a working XBox One Controller. No drivers needed. Verify everything works.
    2. Upgrade to OS X 10.14.2.
    2. Before starting FFXIV, plug in the controller via USB cable.
    3. Press the middle button to turn the controller on (until it glows flashing).
    4. Start the FFXIV launcher app, and launch the game.
    5. Controller will APPEAR to work properly (assuming already calibrated), however it will stop working briefly every 15 to 30 seconds. You can verify this in one of two ways: (A) go into "Configuration" and attempt to calibrate the controller. You will likely not be able to make it through the calibration process because it "cancels" the calibration process automatically every 15-30 seconds. - OR - (B) Go into the game, hold B button, and keep walking around and around in tight circles until the controller cuts out. You'll be unable to keep turning or do anything else briefly.

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantay XIV Technical Support Forums.

I apologize for the delay in our response to this problem. Does this issue happen on any other controller?

    Hope to see you online!
