Final Fantasy Tactics: Lancer Gear. Are we ever gonna get it?

Well, I've glamoured my LNC/DRG to FFT's LNC appearence as closely as I can get, and I think it worked out well:




An actual FFT LNC armour set would definetley be appreciated though.

I wish we could get also the Knight set of FFT. With that glorious white cape.

I ran the game several times with only Knight/Something else hybrids, cuz of the cool amazing capes.

Just found a piece of art that once again makes me wish that we'd one day get the Tactics Lancer set. I just love the combination of leather with metal plate and the cape.

Honestly, I dig it.

Maybe if they ever revamp the Ivalice raids, they could add some FFTactics armor for each job, where applicable?

I'm trying to think what the exceptions might be... I'm supposing maybe the Sage would get the Chemist set (unless that's still on the table as a possible future FFXIV job), Reaper... maybe the Reaper would get Ramza's Dark Knight outfit, and actual DRK's would get Gaffgarion's armor?

There's definitely something super charming about the FF Tactics style of armor. It's toned-down and believable, but still has a TON of personality, and avoids ever seeming "generic".

I love those more grounded armor and weapon designs, still fantasy in design but without the unnecesary lights that actually hide the weapon.

Tactics is hands-down my favorite FF game and I would LOOOOOVVVEEEE to have sets from that game available to all jobs, most especially the LNC/DRG. In fact, LNC/DRG in Tactics is the reason I main DRG in XIV and pretty much play it to the exclusion of all other DoW/DoM.

If they added sets from Tactics, I'd actually run the dungeons/raids/trials they came from consistently.
