it absolutely does
ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ ᚠᛖᚺᚢ
ᛞᚨᚢᛃᚨᚾ ᚠᚱᚨᚾᛞᛁᛊ : ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ ᛊᛖᛚᛒᚨᛉ ᛊᚨᛗᛟ

ᚦᚨᛏᚨ ᚾᛖ ᚨᛚᛞᚱᚨᛁᚷᛁᚾ ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ
ᛞᛟᛗᚨᛉ ᚢᛗᛒᛁ ᛞᚨᚢᛞᚨᚾᛟ ᚺᚹᚨᚱᛃᚨᚾᛟ

Looking at it closer it looks like Hassatsu: Goren... the 50 point ability except with an explosion at the end. Maybe in 5.0 they will give us a trait that upgrades Goren into Hien's LB?

As soon as PLD gets Holiest of Holy you can
I wish I got to see Hien LB3 in Ghimlyt but I got Lyse.
The NPC that does their LB seems to be random when you face that last Colossus.

Sadly, Aymeric doesn't have big participation, same as Pipin. They could've randomized the protect Kan-E-Senna does with Passage of Arms (Aymeric) and maybe a Shadow Wall (Pipin). That way, 3 characters would've been able to shield us, and 3 would've been able to Limit Break.

Problem is, in lore Aymeric isn't a paladin, and Pipin isn't a dark knight, they just use the same moveset because the weapons are the same. But all of the magical tank protection stuff relies on paladin or dark knight abilities.Sadly, Aymeric doesn't have big participation, same as Pipin. I feel like paladin was intended to be an Ishgardian job, and I still think it's likely to be the origin of their skills.
The lore we have for the origins of the Ul'dahn paladins is that they were founded about 600 years ago - well after Ishgard's knights were established - so I think it's quite possible they were trained in Ishgardian techniques to begin with, even if they went off in their own direction after that. The sword skill "Rage of Halone" also points to this.
As for Pipin - we were talking about this in another discussion the other day - I agree he's definitely not a dark knight as the game defines it, but I also remembered that the lorebook says that his/Raubahn's sword is cursed. So I think it's justifiable that he's able to use some degree of dark magic skills while wielding that specific sword, although the writers may not want to make too big a deal of it.
And I'm not sure if Kan-E's spell is exactly "Collective Unconscious" or a generic shield. As JunseiKei said, Y'shtola has used it as well, so I think it's just a WHM spell the player can't use. (It's possible that it might be the spell-version of convergent evolution - both disciplines have worked out their own method of calling up a very similar-looking shield, or perhaps tapping into the same aetherial effect by different methods.)

I believe it is. I've seen Lyse, Yugiri and Hien so far. Not sure if anyone else does one, but I believe they're the only DPS classes. I just found it interesting that Hien is the only one with a unique LB.
