Regarding lofts

You know you can float ground items on top of lofts with the inventory glitch? Go on YouTube and look for Shei Cloudbank to find her tutorials. She's done them for several different items. On Facebook we even have spreadsheets for minimum height requirements and starter heights.

I can't even get a tabletop item onto a loft platform. I have a PS4, the controller has no way to view the higher area, if you get up on the platform (or anything else to give you line-of-sight) to see you fall straight through, and no matter what I try the item just flaps around always purple, never placeable. I don't know of any shelf high enough to even try the floating glitch - even then, I'd never be able to see well enough to pull it off. Very frustrating.

1. Put the loft at a very low height above the ground.
2. Decorate it with all the furniture you want on it (max of 9 items though)
3. Move the loft up to where you want it.

With new glitch, did someone get desks and sofas on the new loft? It's literally a week that i'm trying to get fatcat sofa over there and a desk too but seems like i can't. This is driving me crazy! I makeovered the house just for this idea and now i'm stuck :\

I've got the Carbuncle Desk, Carbuncle Armchair, Hingan Wardrobe and Double Feather Bed up in my apartment loft. Getting the hang of the float glitch can take a little practice but it does work and it's not that difficult, just time consuming. Watch Shei's guides on YouTube if you haven't already.

Was commenting elsewhere, the lofts are also a tidy way to close off your basement if you so choose to do so, they'll fit at the very top/hang over the top of a stage panel & can be floated.

I floated all kinds of furniture up already (also the Fat Cat Sofa). And had no issues at all, since the lofts make it all even easier than it was before. I floated bathroom tiles (rug) and the whole bathroom up and what not all...
I can just say the same like Jojoya, watching Shei's Guide was the most helpful.

So I love the lofts but what sucks is that I can't put anything up on it unless its a table top. Which everyone here knows, but what sucks even more is that I can't figure out how to float things. I have watched the videos and read about how to do it but it just doesn't work for me . Please Square Enix get your heads in the game I want to be able to put other things on the loft besides table tops.
