Regarding lofts

I would first like to thank SE for implementing them and I want to state that this is NOT a complaint thread. Only a request for the future.

I was ecstatic when lofts were introduced. However my enthusiasm quickly faded when I realized I couldn't actually use them to make upper floors in my apartment and have a cozy little nook for my bed overlooking the rest of the room.

So my request for SE is to look into making some kind of option for designating loft items as floor surfaces instead of table tops. I don't know how the housing mechanics work so I can't say how much work this will actually be but I do hope it's taken into consideration.

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. I was super disappointed that I couldn't put the futon on it.

You can do it but you have to glitch it up there, and this is an ongoing issue. They either need to give us a third axis for placement or change all items to tabletop.

Or they need to release a few new beds that sit directly on the 'floor' similar to the futon, and mark them as table top items. Keep the other beds as is (cause really, as cool as it would be, a canopy bed on a loft would be a little bonkers). A change to the items would be cool too, but I'm all for more items, over all. A few beds made specifically to fit on/with the lofts would be kind of neat to see, as well as other little furnishings (maybe things small enough to fill the desire for lalafell friendly items as well).

I would love it too, if SE would finally let us do all that stuff without glitches. Same with windows... those new tiny windows are now allowed to be placed on partions, the old ones still have to be glitched on there >.< I mean it's not hard to do that, it can just get annoying... so why are they not giving us "legally" the chance?

And now for lofts.... thanks to the new inventory glitch, it is SUPER easy to glitch items on there that aren't "supposed" to be on there, but it's at least a simple way to do it anyway. Nonetheless I would be very happy, if it would just be possible in general.

I tried the glitch in my apartment, to see if it works for me. I was not a fan of the old stage-glitch, since I could never make it to work. ^^'

I was thinking it'd be great to set up a little bathroom with a bed loft on top, using that platform. It'd especially be nice for saving space in an apartment.

I am unfamiliar with this method. I try placing beds straight from storage onto a loft, but they are unable to place. Would anyone be able to provide some light onto how this is done?

Not just lofts. Stages as well. It's really weird that you can't put things like instruments on a stage.

The entire reason I was ecstatic for lofts is that I could never get the floating glitch to work for me. Which why I was super disappointed. I followed every guide I could find but couldn't get it to work.
