    Blue Mage and the value of Spell Speed

    Anyone else looking forward to see how much impact this stat can have?

    Some thought's I've seen -
    BLU has already been indicated to be at risk of Mana issues with the use of the heavy hitting spells that would have longer cooldowns. Adding spell speed to that equation, regardless of if it impacted the cooldown of the heavy spells, would further exacerbate this problem. May still be fun to play with this for a little bit anyways, if it does have the effect of reducing large cooldowns.

    People think INT is really important on a Caster that wears Caster gear. I wont argue this point, but Caster gear already has all of it's INT stat capped out. Also, don't be buying out INT materia. You can't meld primary stat, and 130 gear doesn't have materia slots anyways.

    Other Substats maybe applicable to Blue Mage.
    Determination
    Critical Hit
    Direct Hit
    In case you aren't aware, the entire spell book has already been spoiled, and a lot of it indicates that many spells will have fixed ratio damage, such as Bomb's Self Destruct doing an explicit 99% of target's maximum HP as damage. This leaves me wondering exactly how useful these three substats will even be to begin with.
    That being said, would VIT melds aid in surviving the use of a spell like that?
