Steps:
1. Air Force One is the current gate
2. Sign up for Air Force one
3. Part way through playing Air Force One get a 90002 error.

Note: I've been disconnected a minimum of 6-8 times now. Going off one time I hit a bomb target, that would be a maximum of 31,000 MGP I'm forced to miss out on because of this. I ONLY ever DC during this GATE, and nothing else.

I've been getting the exact same thing, halfway through and just sudden disconnect. No clue what's causing it and really hope something's figured out. I don't DC any other time other than in Air Force One

It's only in Air Force One. It doesn't happen in leap of faith, nor anywhere else in the game. I don't know if there's really anything I can actually do to resolve the issue on my side, as they're all 90002 server errors, so I think it might have something to do with our character changing height or something in the instance, since this is the first time we're moving on a predetermined track at abnormal heights compared to how we normally move in game. I've even closed everything but XIV on my computer while playing Air Force One, but I've still been DC'd during it.

I am going to go ahead and suggest some trouble shooting suggestions that may help. Please try the following:


-Disable background applications/Clean boot
-Make exceptions for anti-virus/firewall
-Update Internet Explorer:
-Open the IE browser, open the "Tools", go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
- Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
- Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
- Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

-Make exceptions for anti-virus/firewall
-Update Internet Explorer:
-Open the IE browser, open the "Tools", go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
- Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
- Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
- Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

I'd like to thank you for your... suggestions, on making the game work. But alas, none of those have seemed to help me one bit, as I have just disconnected once again, as this seems to be all on you guys with me disconnecting, as I've lost easily over 80k MGP at this point, which frankly... is a decent bit.

Edit: Took a while to reply to this, since I got KH3 a bit early and binge played it and only just got back into play playing XIV again.

I'd like to add that it happened yet again at about 7:22pm East Coast US time, where I just go into the mini-game and it randomly disconnects me. It's pretty annoying when you're spending time to do side-content, but you can't due to constant 90002's from the game
