I dunno about all this bug reporting nonsense, but there is a bug in this game, I don't know where to post on what forum cause its way too complicated. So please mod, move it to where it needs to go or message me and i can post it there.

When you place the new Wooden Platform in your home, you can basically only place tabletop furnishings on it, i wanted to put a bed on it, and the thing just wont go onto it? It's very strange.

I'm fairly sure that's by design; the loft acts more like a shelf or table than it does a floor, therefore things marked furnishing are unable to use it. Only tabletop items or things that can go on tables/shelves can be placed on the loft unless you glitch it.

This is why forums feel a waste of time. I have a clear bug, but I don't feel like spending 2 hours reading forum stickies and filling out of information that has nothing to do with the bug. It's a furnishing bug, not a pc error.

See and it seemed like the loft was a solution to all the clutching, I just want to put my fumaroll mattress on it and make a hidden sleep area

I'm sure programmers don't want to waste their time either since they ask for a certain format due to efficiency of having to test the bug and just have to go through people not wanting to spend their time to at least do the bare minimum that certainly doesn't take a few hours.

It's not a bug, but it's certainly not what was expected.

Also, when you make a post, they outright put the template for you already. So it's not doing anything of help to not try to use it.

Yes, and I would fill it all in, if I found a technical bug in my game. This is just an item not working as intended.

It's not "not working as intended"... it is, but it's not working as we want it to. Since it's not classified as a type of 'floor,' furnishings aren't going to work on it. They'd have to re-classify it's type. but then it may not be 'wall mountable' anymore. It's a sticky code from what I understand.
