    Frontline premades

    Just 1 simple question:
Why premade teams are allowed in frontline roulette?
Today was the 3rd time this week i met full premade adders and they just easily smash everyone.
They were so coordinated, move together 6 dps focus 1 healer, 100% premade team, and i got bot teammates...

You guys cant fix this and wondering why pvp isnt popular?

They are not allowed in Roulette (Daily Challenge only allows queuing Solo), but if people queue for a specific duty and that happens to be the one on rotation that day, then they can go pre-formed.

Can confirm it is a lot less fun when you're facing a well put together pre-made and you're PUG. Also concerned if you removed pre-made ability that you'd see less people queue for pvp. It's like when you're playing a MOBA and the queue system just rage quit and decided to slap one side into a low skill group facing off against a team in voice chat with high skill level (or smurf accounts). Fun nose dives. But again I'm not sure they can afford to skill rank people and separate them out so a pre-made faces an equally skilled PUG opposition (at least without queue times becoming 100x longer).

Perhaps could look into other ways to make it less annoying like a reward after certain criteria are met (just some requirement that makes it so people don't go "oh cool if i die fast to these guys I get a reward and they will win anyways, /mijin gakure"). The reward not being higher than winning first place but being better than facing off against an equally randomly assembled skill group team, such that the randomly assembled players will try to do well to get that bonus (getting more points/lasting longer even though it's not first place) and the pre-made will want to get first place because best reward and dishonor if they don't lol.

The roulette is literally the same as queuing for the specific Frontlines duty, so this argument is pointless. You can ONLY queue for the one Frontline duty that's on rotation for the day. They will end up in the same duty.

You can't technically go in pre-formed, however it's actually very easy to intentionally get into the same match as other people. As long as all 24 players are members of Twin Adder (who aren't using Frontline Freelancer) and queue up at the same time, they're practically guaranteed to get into the same match. While I've never done a full pre-made, I've done this with 3 friends and consistently had a 99% success rate getting into the same game.

Running with the same people (who are almost certainly in voice chat) gives them a huge advantage over the unorganized randos they're facing. Unfortunately the only real solution I can see to this issue would be to make Frontline Freelancer permanently on for all players, and I'm not sure if that's really worth it.

No, there are ways to win against premade unless it is Seal Rock just because Frontline is 3 ways.
There is always a way to get even with premade head on if you prepared a count down macro and designated which target to focus on.
Forget about the myth of kill healer first, all you need to do is make sure your team focus on one target and one target only.
Healers of FF14 is balanced around 4v4 Feast, their healing ability only strong enough to sustain damage from 3 DPS.
If you cant kill anything during a team encounter, it is really just because your team is not focus fire and your tank is not doing the job properly.
No healer can keep up a target focused by 6 dps on the Frontline.
It is rather amuse that a lot of these players who believed their team is bade never gives out command or use countdown macro to guide the team.
All they do is complain and blame everything on a team that consists of random players.

You're right that you can fight against premades (and win sometimes) and people should try to work together far more often than they do now, but wrong in saying "no" that running a premade ready to win battles is not significantly more advantage than a bunch of randos + bots.

Which is why I said yes, as Beckett merely said that premade has advantage over randoms.

Besides the communication boost that a premade has there is also the mindset and hierarchy, as well as likely a general strategy planned out. There are of course bad premades but a good premade has advantage.

The fact is most of people that is complain literally did "nothing"
All you heard is whining and cursing on his own team.
It is either that or this person thinks all his team are garbage s+ bots.
It is not progressive and pointless.

Of course you can win against a pre-made, they're not infallible. But a full group of 24 people communicating in voice chat are always going to have an advantage over strangers communicating through text.

I've occasionally been in pugs communicating through text that have managed to outplay the pre-made alliance, but it's a rare thing. The pre-made alliances aren't necessarily winning because the random groups are bad, they're winning because the pre-made groups have a distinct and undeniable advantage.
