I was thinking it was 3 seconds per synth, but it might be 6 seconds. 10 minutes for a stack of 99 sounds closer now that I think about it, so 100 minutes of quick synth for one set of Syldra parts.50 minutes for 1000 quick synths? Tell me your secrets! It takes my character 15 minutes to quick synth 99 items give or take a minute (cause I don't remember exact number, but around 15 minutes for sure).
You can test how long it takes to quick synth by going to a low level material vendor and buying enough materials for 99 iron ingots (less than 2k) and then quick synth 99 iron ingots and time it.
You can just gather up the materials and quick synth a whole bunch in a row. For low level things like this it doesn't really matter if you end up with NQ items, especially varnish or other things you are only going to use for housing items anyway.
(but I do actually think it would be convenient if they yielded more items per craft)

While I agree with the convenience factor, yeah, HQ doesn't really matter all that much when the item is so low level. HQ provides such a small boost to the overall progress that any halfway decent crafter should have no trouble compensating for.
That said, I'd still be in favor of boosting a lot of mid-craft materials. My experience with Cotton in particular nearly put me off crafting entirely. Everything in that level range needs cotton in some form, and I still hadn't quite worked out a decent rotation for anything.
