Wrongful kicking people on third boss in new Ivalice raid

It seems this is happening now in the new raid, I know its the first day of the raid but been seeing this alot today, heck, I JUST got kicked after joining in a group that was on the third boss, we wiped and they kicked me.

No instructions what I need to do, no instructions on what their placement was. Just kicked.

I think I may give this raid a few weeks before trying again cause right now, people are really making it stressful on these kicks and yelling.

Well if what you say happened to you is true, that's unfortunate. Chalk it up to a bad group because all the times I've been in Orbonne so far I haven't witnessed anyone being kicked (Vote Abandon is being spammed on Thunder God like it's going out of style though).

But I also have no qualms about kicking people who are given instruction and continually do the opposite anyway, resulting in deaths and wipes. I don't care if it's the first day, if your presence and refusal to listen is keeping the other 23 people from clearing you need to go.

It really sucks, I join in a group with 29mins left. OH right.. on the third boss..can finish where I my last group gave up on...we wipe...i'm kicked. One try. I don't know if someone have kicked me so they can leave the group and get in another group and I was the sacrificial lamb to do it.

After witnessing the rising of so much forum posts about "git gut" and "the weak must lay down", I don't expect less from people behavior in game.

I don't know if the recent diaspora of some people from another well known game to XIV have contributed to the degrade, but it is assured we now have to deal with this new trend.

After all, DF is PUG and we all know a PUG is a PUG. Your luck at rng is tested not only on loot, but starts with the people you have been assigned to your duty.

If you get a kick, don't make it too personal, just think it was back luck and retry.

One thing I will say about boss #3 , get the markers right. All other mechanics are on you to learn, but if this is wrong you’ll wipe.

In my first and failed attempted, A was placed to the left, B to the right and C to the back.
This was clearly wrong, as the mob that spawned where C was ended up targeting a member of alliance A with a line AoE (me specifically, it’s a golden overhead marker, while the circle/donut AoE is a red one) and when we returned to the main arena, alliance A landed right on top of C’s marker.
This meant that everyone had to run around the arena to get back to their original starting points, and that we couldn’t direct the mob’s line AoE’s to the edge of the arena, causing them to cut across and hit more people.

So remember people. A goes to the back, and I presume B is left and C is right, and take the mob to your right (they don’t spawn exactly on the markers)

Not a comment on you Pinkie, just want to get the word out to make everyone's life easier.

Of course, maybe you shouldn't judge by just the post of the person that has been kicked. We had that here often enough that there was way more to the story than the person that complained shared.

I will say that we had a ton of very impatient people in our Orbonne run. Someone was spamming the "abandon duty" button even when there were no wipes, and we had people ranting about "get with it" and "I'm not about to put up with another timed out run". Like, sure, whatever, you don't want to deal with a group you think is going to hit the timer, leave. I'm learning the raid.

My JP alliance earlier today got the 3rd boss down after the 2nd wipe. No rage or anything, just everyone taking the time to learn the content at 1st and 3rd phase, figuring out the ballroom dance routine.

I would actually say the 1st and 2nd boss caused way more deaths and issues. For the life of all of us, no one could figure out the shield duty action and why it wasn't working on the 2nd boss.
