Pretty much the title. I'm grateful for the dresser and glam plates but it's kind of frustrating having to port to a city state then walking over to the inkeep.

They originally said the glamour dresser would eventually be a housing item but later said they ran into issues they didn't expect. I'm sure if they can resolve those issues it will be added since all the other inn items (other than the special bed) are housing items.
Personally I'd rather have the item limit and number of glamour plates increased first. I can deal with running to an inn on the rare occasions I want to get something out of the dresser or change one of the plates. Being out of room to store things and only having 10 plates to handle 26 jobs (with another on the way) is more frustrating to me.
Yeah I agree, I'd much prefer to have increased limit on what I can store in it as well as the Glamour Plates available before our being available in housing areas. It's a very small price to pay to go to an Inn if it got those kind of improvements.... saying that I think they were aiming to increase it to 400 slots.
Please no. They really need a collection based system where all styles are learned for anything you own.
It'd would be fine with me if the Glamour Dresser is still the place where you manage plates and such but there really needs to be at least a plate per job/class but should really be more for RP and such.
YoshiP just said in a server q&a that yes, they're increasing it to 400 and they're looking at more plates. Then they'll give us the housing item. So, as much as we'd rather have a more comprehensive system, this is what they're sticking with.
The quote I saw is that after they increase the number of items it can hold and the number of plates, they'll look into adding it to "more places." "More places" could mean anything from FC workshops to Rhalgr's Reach. Granted, he was responding to a question specifically about adding Glamour Dressers to player housing.
right now prob if they had too many people open glamor dressers at once it would crash the server.
True, but either way, it means they have no interest in revamping the system. The quote I saw is that after they increase the number of items it can hold and the number of plates, they'll look into adding it to "more places." The explanation they gave was that there were issues if someone tried to move the furniture while in use wasn't it? If so, it means someone took the time to over complicate something that should have simply made a function call to open up the dresser menu without any ties to furniture location.
