    An Unexpected Error Has Occured FFXIV. (17)

    I am at my wits end I keep crashing and I have tried everything but it keeps happening sometimes I can be online for hours other times minutes it's never the same. One time one character will be infected and I can't log onto them at all but all my others are fine, then that one is fine and a different character is infected.

    Please for the love of the twelve help a brother out I've seriously done everything to try and fix it.

    -Clean Boot
    -Uninstall/Reinstall (8 times)
    -Changed Compatibility
    -Switched to Directx 9
    -Deleted My Games Folder

    The list goes on but you get the picture. please please please help me!

    Mookula, could you provide a system report? Please do so by going to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

    <coughs> I may have fixed it... turns out i had 101 outstanding Windows updates tht I spent all day DLing and installing yesterday. So far I have yet to crash since doing so but I will update the thread with all pertinent information if anything goes awry.
