To be fair. I'd probably have paid 24 bucks for the Ozma mount too if it was on the mogstation. I'd absolutely rather spend 24 bucks than run Eureka--that's for dang sure!

I'm kinda surprised they don't add the old trial mounts to the mog station. Delay it off course, but like how they add the ability to buy them with 99 totems. Maybe after a year--just throw them on the mog station entirely. I can only imagine the mad money Square-Enix would bring in with that kind of plan though. Or maybe lower them to like 10 dollars per mount instead of 24. The holiday items are a fraction of the non-holiday items in cost. So I could see that!

There's no reason for them to, not with how bone-easy the mounts become to get. Garuda can be cleared in under a minute with just two level 70s. Some of the 50 exes are still pains because of health gates (I'm pretty sure Ifrit's 3rd set of nails is still auto-wipe if you push him through), but even then... 5m? Max? Level 60 mounts are getting to be just as easy - Ravana dies in a little under 1.5 minutes with 5+ 70s. I've gone nights (of around 3 hours) of WT/BLU skill/newbie mount farming on the 50 primals where I've seen 2-3 nightmares drop.

Besides all that, I really don't want this to be a thing. I'm fine with the unique stuff on the mog station, and given that most MMOs I played in the past had the same event year after year because they offered the same rewards (maybe eventually cycling them out so the old ones became unobtainable) I'm fine with the way they do event items, too. I'd rather content that's permanent stay within the game, however.

Literally same argument anytime anything gets released in cash shop.
Someone who doesnt want to pay money for it and then claiming that SE are evil and greedy because everything in life should be free or that if we pay a sub we are entitled to everything.
We had same dumb argument when the emotes got released and we will see it every time in future when se release literally anything in the mog station.
You will see the exact same people crying over it.

I literally cannot stop smiling when I'm on my fat cat mount. We had a whole party flying around on them and plorp'd in a circle doing maps the other night and I just kept laughing. Absolutely worth the $.
