Regarding the Raid

So it may have gone way over my head, but the Lucavi are explicitly not Voidsent nor primals. Did they go over their origins at all throughout the raids? I'm almost certain they did, but I have mushy brain. I wasn't sure if they were the same as they were in FFT, i.e. their own class of "demons", or something else entirely.
