If you're trying to get back into the game, the game will point you in the right direction for MSQ so honestly, as you follow that you should be fine. It sounds like you're in heavensward expansion pack if I'm not mistaken. There are a couple of endgame primals you can unlock but in terms of importance, it's not high on the list. To fully enjoy everything, as long as you focus on MSQ, you should be okay. Those primals that you can unlock can be done anytime so don't stress out too much.
