Stop Removing GATEs from the Gold Saucer

Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if they removed Skinchange. It's a frustrating Gate because it seems to always vary wildly in difficulty. Most of the time it's easy or not too bad, but then there have been times where I couldn't tell the difference between five different naked roes with slightly varied nose shapes or something like that.

That said, I do agree that they should add more Gates that aren't instanced. A lot of people like to idle in the Saucer while queuing for content, and I think getting rid of that would be a bad idea. Maybe they could expand/alter the map with some new areas for Cliffhanger that are comparatively more challenging like the Leap of Faith zone.

If i see skinchange up and the NPC is a roe i turn right around and leave. Seems like 2/3rd the time when the NPC is a roe one of the differentiating factors will be how tall they are, and good luck determining that without a steady reference point.

I'm on-board with this sentiment. For a system so heavily-invested in queuing for instances for content, having you drop whatever you're queued for just for a quick, recreational activity in the Saucer seems almost counterproductive. It seems like the majority of the GATEs happening in the Saucer are currently designed this way (the new ones), and I'm concerned that every new GATE they end up adding will require you to drop out of queues for anything else to participate.

Please stop removing GATEs from the Gold Saucer.

It's nice that the frequency of the GATEs has been increased when we got Leap of Faith, but the fact that the actual number of GATEs we have available to do has not increased but instead stayed the same--due to ones getting removed every time we get a new one--has not helped them feel less repetitive.

Not to mention that both the new GATEs added have been instance locked, so I am now unable to do those GATEs while in queue for a Duty... which is one of the main reasons I spend time at the Gold Saucer.

I would have much rather seen the GATE frequency changed to every 15 minutes or the possible GATEs that appear have more options than lose both Vase Off and Time of my Life.

I actually really liked Vase Off, it was probably my second favorite GATE. With Time of my Life now also being pushed into retirement, I worry for the last GATEs I can do while in queue. I also worry we will lose Cliffhanger which is, without a doubt, my favorite GATE.

I loved Vase Off, and other Gates, hated the one where we had to review an npc's gear, but like this thread says I dont do GATES ever, i hate Air Force One because I can't que for my duty. I like the old GATES, NEVER PLAY THE NEW ONES.
