Stop Removing GATEs from the Gold Saucer

Please stop removing GATEs from the Gold Saucer.

It's nice that the frequency of the GATEs has been increased when we got Leap of Faith, but the fact that the actual number of GATEs we have available to do has not increased but instead stayed the same--due to ones getting removed every time we get a new one--has not helped them feel less repetitive.

Not to mention that both the new GATEs added have been instance locked, so I am now unable to do those GATEs while in queue for a Duty... which is one of the main reasons I spend time at the Gold Saucer.

I would have much rather seen the GATE frequency changed to every 15 minutes or the possible GATEs that appear have more options than lose both Vase Off and Time of my Life.

I actually really liked Vase Off, it was probably my second favorite GATE. With Time of my Life now also being pushed into retirement, I worry for the last GATEs I can do while in queue. I also worry we will lose Cliffhanger which is, without a doubt, my favorite GATE.

I rarely do Gold Saucer things, but wow. They removed Time of My Life? That was the one I actually went out of my way to do when I’d be idling in there. Lame. :/

I never thought that other GATEs would end up sharing the fate of Vase Off. Time of My Life was my favorite GATE. What's next? Cliffhanger? Any Way The Wind Blows? Let's just remove all of them while we're at it and only play the newest ones.
Why do GATEs need to be removed instead of just being added to the list? I really don't understand the reasoning behind this and I'm scared now to see other GATEs being removed.

The only reason I can fathom removing Time of My Life is to eventually replace it with a Rhythm Mini Game where we'll play as another limited job "Dancer" instead of being given a full fledged playable class.

I'm okay with removing Time of My Life. It was easily my least favorite GATE, and the only one I actively ignored if I saw it up.

Agreed that instancing the new ones sucks though. It's stupid that you can't do them while queued.

I wish that, instead of only one gate every 20 minutes, we could get 2 gates simultaneously.

Im glad they are making a bunch of new gates. I have never been a fan of removing content from an MMO. New or old, everyone should have the chance to experience everything. Its like wow retiring mounts, why retire them? who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

they probably looked at participation numbers. I always skipped Time of your Life. I'm sure a lot of other people did too.

I get that Time of Your Life was likely unpopular.
But it was actually rather decent for teaching people emotes.

May sound strange but some people really don't know what some emotes look like.
I think if anything, they should have changed up the emote list in the event.
