do you think it is because of HW having lv 50 quests that is why they restricted it it's the only thing that seems consistant with the locking of blu outta things if it has something to do with HW or SB be it level, zone, creatures it is locked out of content that might enfringe on these

Nah, cause a BLU can be in an HW, SB, and even ShadowBirngers zone (once its out) at level 1, another job just needs to get their first.

I was going to point out that by then you had already ran those quests on that other job, but then I remembered we're supposed to get New Game+. So it should, in theory, be possible for someone to replay the game on BLU if they so chose - assuming BLU's MSQ restriction is removed by the time NG+ is introduced.
Because if it's not, and NG+ hits, that's more solo content BLU is locked out of.

tbf i am trying to make sense of why lock blu outta PotD, Squadrons, Msq etc for PotD the only thing is that blu can't go to lv60, squadrons because they have HW dungeons Msq because HW has lv 50 quests and they don't want you there yet.

All in all weak reasonings all around you made more than 120 abilities already so why not lv60 cap? to not overwhelm us? because of no masked carnivale for that lv yet?

BLU is pretty much forced to only kill overworld mobs and nothing else unless they have a premade holding their hand through some instances. And now we have item turn-ins for learning skills too. So that's from mobs, quests, and items now. Quite the "real" BLU aimright?

I wanted BLU for group content and would always have been upset with it being a "Limited" job, but I would have gotten over it, especially if the content was fun. What really bothers me is how the devs outright lied about their reasoning for making it a Limited job.

Turning a classic FF job into a new type of content (unrelated to the main game) is regrettable, but it is understandable and defensible. Trying to hide that decision behind reasons that have time and time again proven to be false, is not.

Isn't that supposed to be the main appeal of BLU though? I understand not letting them into group POTD (or at least matchmaking POTD) but who cares if BLU can get through to floor 200 solo much easier than other jobs? From what I understand, the whole point of BLU is that it can do things the classic jobs can't!

If it turns out that BLU isn't capable of soloing things like old Primals and raids, then Masked Carnivalle had better be the greatest content of all time, because that's literally the only thing BLU will be used for.

That's silly. People will play it or not depending on if it's fun (or at the very least, rewarding). You can't organize a boycott, but it'll happen naturally if no one actually wants to play the content.
