Things I like about this update:
- Looks like some nice new furnishings and housing tweaks are on the way. (Was that an actual loft item I saw??)
- FINALLY our horses can fly!
- Looks like a lot of Mog Shop mounts are changing their music themes, so that might be nice
-Alphascape lockouts are over (does this count for savage too?)

The only kind of sad thing is that SMN didn't back Ifrit's real Radiant Shield, but then I didn't actually expect they would bring that back anyway. Garuda will have to be our bud for a while yet.

Why does the new glam look almost like the 4.4 coat.
Went from a Winter coat to a rain coat and it looks like females got another skirt with stockings... hooray~....

They didn't even try on this one.

Actually I'm not sure they included pants/skirts at all - the Miqo'te seems to be wearing Wind Silk pants. It might just be the coat, detachable hood and boots.

Blue Mage is a minigame...
You level it up, you learn the attacks, you then take it to The Masked Carnivale to earn Gil, Allied Seals and Tomestones of Poetics.

If you want to have your hopes up on it getting to be a real job you're going to have to wait until they have at least built it up to Shadowbringers, it's currently only ARR content. I do believe they have promised to make HW content for it, which'll mean new skills to learn and more leveling, and I would hope with HW content Centurio Seals to replace the Allied ones.
It'll probably be a good while after the release of Shadowbringers if it happens.

So just don't think of it as a "job", think of it what it is... A minigame.

I'm just happy my unicorn can fly now! Oh and the whole world crossing thing sounds interesting but worries me a little. I just hope the servers can handle all of it.

I assume it's from the Ivalice raid, since it's Ramza and Alma's hairstyles. It looks like it might be a single gender-varied style though, since we've only seen each one modeled by characters of that gender. (There were other pictures on the 4.5 preview website that each had two characters showing off the hairstyle on different races.)

Right now the primary reason might be that BLU is limited to Lv50 but PotD goes up to Lv60.

Also, it doesn't have a normal "learn skill X at level Y" setup like the other classes, so it might not play nicely with PotD's leveling system.

Or it could be a permanent restriction so you don't walk in and Level 5 Death your way through the harder floors.
