High Level Fishing Nerf? The McFishers need help please.

I just got up at 4:30am because all day absent weather cycles show up then. 2 patterns timed perfectly so I could hit both. both South Shroud, and the Dunes for Feast of Famine...and failed on 4 attempts to reel in Required HQ. I had only snagging cast, never use patience. Something is off, a full real world day of missing every HQ needed is not RNG. My character has been nerfed the entire day, not subject to some obscure endless bad luck RNG. This also happened to my 9 year old a few days back...failure after failure after failure. What a waste of time, now it’s 6am.

Well, I got the whole 1000 fish for the achievment for the lvl 41-50 fishing spots in Black Shroud while I was trying to catch that legendary fish for the quest.

This 6 fish, and the other 6 legendary fish from Heavensward, are a different league of RNG. It is normal to waste weeks upon weeks on this fish. I am still missing 2 legendary fish from Heavensward... >.>

Don't use Snagging, except the fish requires it. All what you are doing is potentially increasing the amount of different fish in the loot table, wich means you are lowering the chance to catch the fish you actually want. And start using Patience II, with this skill you should have a 100% HQ rate.

Do you know how to use Patience and how to make out if you have to use Powerfull- or Precision Hookset?
