Question about Glamour Dresser

Can you not put the Reward gear in the dresser, I wanted to put the cloud , leon and zidane gear in there but it seems like that can't happen?

I thought that was.. the point of that. To put a bunch of items you wanted to throw on, and didn't have inventory space for?

i think they didnt consider 'em since you can just place em on the armoire or idk

Anything in the armoire can be added to a glamour plate using the dresser.

There's a button somewhere to switch the view to what's in the armoire.

Anything that can be put in armoire can't be put in glamour dresser, but can be used one the same. Armoire is better since in some regards as it has virtually unlimited space (though only certain items are armorale which is a limit of sort) and all items can be reacquired from it any time. However you can't dye items in armoire. however, debending how you use glamour plates, you can dye the items after you have applied the glamour aith the plate. When you use plate once, it does the same as if you manually applied each of those glamour to your gear. Even if you didn't use the plate again, your gear always has that glamour until you glamour it with something else, manually or with another plate. For this reason glamour applied with plate can also be redyed once it's on the gear.

If I'm wrong, someone please explain it. I placed the Strife outfit in the armoire, and it doesn't appear in the glamour dresser anywhere. There is no "button somewhere to switch the view...".

Items in the armoire don't appear in the main list of items in the glamour dresser.

When you're editing plates, the panel on the right (with the list of items) has a button that switches between the glamour dresser and armoire, so you can add items from either source to your plate.


Additionally, settings have changed in the year since the rest of this discussion was held, and items that can go in the armoire can also be put in the dresser. While this takes up a space in your dresser, it lets you keep the item permanently dyed instead of only being able to apply the dye to the plate.

Best used when you want to put an expensive dye on the item, but also handy if you will use it frequently on different plates and/or have room to spare in the dresser.

That will allow you to look at your Armoire items when creating glamour plates.
