    Patch 4.5 Notes

    In Astragalos campaigns, a magitek field now protects the base and core.

    Magitek Field and Cores

    The core is protected by a magitek field emanating from two towers, so before you can strike at the core, you must first destroy at least one of the towers. With one tower destroyed, your team can begin to damage the core; however, damage will be significantly mitigated by the remainder of the magitek field until the second tower is eliminated.

    In accordance with these changes, tower and core HP has been increased. Victory is now determined by the following factors, in this order:
    1. Remaining core HP
    2. Number of towers remaining
    3. Remaining tower HP

    In addition, remaining HP will now be displayed even after the time limit has expired.

    The following adjustments have been made to Soaring:

    - The maximum number of stacks has been increased from 10 to 20.
    - Healing Potency Up now affects the amount restored by non-magical abilities.
    - At 20 Soaring stacks, the Flying High status will be applied. In addition to increasing damage dealt and HP - restoration, it makes the adrenaline gauge fill more quickly.
    - Stacks are no longer reduced upon KO.
    - The stacks for all alliances on a team will now increase when an enemy tower is destroyed.

    Additions and adjustments have been made to mammets and machina in Astragalos campaigns.

    - The effects of Soaring and Flying High will no longer apply when piloting machina.
    - Damage dealt to mammets and machina is no longer reduced when attacking from 15 yalms or more.
    - The reduction in HP restoration to mammets now affects non-magical healing abilities.
    - The self-sacrificing attack used by mammets against the enemy core has been changed to an action specifically designed for this purpose.
    - The amount of ceruleum gained for defeating mammets has been increased.
    - Brute Justice can now be deployed an unlimited number of times, rather than being limited to twice per battle.
    * There have been no changes to the maximum number of combatants that can ride Brute Justice simultaneously.
    The amount of ceruleum gathered by each player is now displayed on the results screen.

    so whoever is in charge of pvp fl here got tired of brd & mch and develop a fetish for nja i guess , but not time to whine cause as a caster i should be grateful ,they erase the magic resistance in shatter , how many years to relize it was like a giant middlefinger to every caster class ? 2 ,3 years ? gg square gg.

    Tanks and melee DPS will take 30% less damage and deal 15% more.

    This does not solve the problem. This just flips the problem. Also way to rope in casters with the physical ranged...which were the actual issue. Once upon a time there used to be sweet spots for BRD damage....why not just implement that?

    Actually it solves the problem because you are able to play Melee now without dying everytime , i actually enjoyed going in there on melee for once.

    I'm all for balance but I'm not for breaking. This didn't solve the problem it just traded it for another. PVP has like no buttons, why can't they balance it? Instead they decide to pull an overwatch and make tanks and melee the flavor of the month. Have you tried healing in there? Healers literally get destroyed.

    It definitely solves the issue for people that solo queue or don't get babysat all day like people in premades do, but then the issue becomes melee players in premades getting babysat and becoming unstoppable killing machines (moreso than before)

    this jsut flipped the problem the damage increase is a bit much buut the real problem is the damage resistance. range dps are boned with this couse u cant kill them now. a mech has to get in close to use there stungun to use there rotation and missing it comes at a big cost. now a physical dps can run up to a range dps kill them and walk away with easy half there health pool.id wish they mad it a good 10/15% damage reduction. that would make them second guess them rushing in mindlessly

    Unlimited Brute Justice seems like the kind of thing that will make a lot of matches drag on unnecessarily.

    I guess the main change I'd want is that they should change the duty finder so that RW is just part of the rotation for matches of the day like they already have for frontline stuff.

    The changes are great.

    Just like other mobas, farming early game is important so that you can get stronger, in this case you're farming soaring. Experienced players can farm soaring on foot, while less experienced PvP players can still use mechs early. Skillful players can farm Soaring to the point where they can now melt mechs.

    This gives a great dynamic of power. Mechs strong early, foot soldiers strong late, but during all phases everyone has something they can do.

    With the new changes to melee it feels like you have a chance to get stuck in. Soaring buff is good and as Eternal said, Great for vet pvpers to farm it early and be prepared for later. Mech changes are good too and now makes cannons even more of a priority defense. Most matches I've had felt better in pacing unlike before where it would always go to time.
