Noob question - how to become a white mage.

I have a level 42 CNJ. I have completed the Seer Folly quest and go to the next quest which says I need to be a WHM to do.

I have been told that if I did the required quest I would have a crystal in my inventory to use to become a WHM yet I cannot find any crystals in at least my regular inventory.

I have searched and search the internet and have not found anything to help me. I cannot find the Soul of the White Mage anywhere in my inventory (clearly I do not know where to look) and yes, I confirmed I completed the quest named above.

The job crystals you get go to your Armoury Chest, the section in there is at the bottom of the accessories. So if you were given it then it should definitely be there, also try doing the /isearch Soul of the White Mage in the chat and it should confirm where it is. You should also be able to equip it from the Character stats menu, just click on the empty equipment slot below the accessories again.

Whenever you equip a new Soul stone, remember to save the gearset.
