FFXIV Intermittent Crashing on PC

I've been playing FFXIV for a while on PS4, years now. Since I've got a gaming computer now though and it's on special, I bought it through the Square Enix store. Everything seemed to be running fine, although before I could finish setting up how I like my hud and everything else to be, the game crashed. It's now crashed four times and I cannot figure out what's wrong with it. Below is the error message I get every time it crashes.




Operating System: Windows 10
PSU: Ryzen 3 2200G
GPU: RX 570 4GB
Memory: 8GB

I got a similar error after crashing as well today. I don't know if it was the exact same one, but it looks close.

It hasn't happened until this morning and I've been playing every day for a couple of weeks.

ApexJaggi how long has the issue with the crash been going on? Does this happen in game when logged into a character or does it happen when the launcher is loading? Also were any updates made to the PC before the game crash?

In your next reply could you also provide a system report by going to the "Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

Additionally, what have you tried to resolve the issue?


Fail if you are experiencing the same issue, could you create your own thread with a system report as well ?

Actually, I've discovered it's from using a PS4 controller, although I've only tried it with the controller plugged in which one of my friends said they have the same issue with.
